More Snow On The Way! Thankfully it's not a snowstorm :D

Well we had some snow that fell a few nights ago that turned our wonderfully warm november days into what either could be beautiful or gross winter like scene. I call it beautiful because things could be worse, a lot worse. We could be dealing with what we call a blizzard, that would be gross. However I hate to be the bear of bad news but more snow is on the way, very unlikely that it will melt.

For the rest of the day today expect cloudy skies with occasional snow flurries that will not accumulate to much maybe about a centimetre or two, higher amounts in heavier bursts of snowfall. High's inbetween 1C and -1C.

Tuesday will be cloudy outside, more snow is expected later on in the day as an area of low pressure enters the region. Environment Canada does not expect a lot of accumulations, we may see 5cm at most according to aweathermoment.com. Wind's will be out of the east at 30km/h gusting to 50km/h.

Wednesday will be a better day with clearing skies, however a cold front may go through the province in the morning ushering in stronger winds from the north along with a cooler and much more winterlike airmass. Winds could very well gust to 60km/h at times, although they mostly will stay at around 40km/h. Temperatures as you guessed it will fall through the day with them reaching the minus double digits by evening, just a taste of winter :)

As we look ahead into the long range the CFSV2 and CPC agree on us seeing warmer weather into late november, early December. We are currently sitting 6C above average so far this november but that may change with the expected cold weather ahead. However December temperatures may in fact be able to balance out the cold we had at this time.
