Beautiful Christmas Weather Expected, Major Cold Shot To End The Week

Our weather has already been a great winter so far but with the new year coming around it looks like that all will change, real winter will arrive soon and with what could be the first real cold shot of the year.

Cold arctic air will arrive during Friday night, bundle up!

To finish off our day today temperatures will begin to fall slightly but not as bad as is expected tomorrow, there will be a chance for flurries this evening and overnight through the south. As winds shift to the south overnight the temperatures will stay steady in the mid minus teens and only drop a few degrees, windchills expected in the mid minus 20's overnight through to early christmas morning. Santa should have a easy ride in the weather expected.

For christmas day expect beautiful weather to prevail with a slight chance of flurries, in the morning. Our daytime high's will be reached sometime in the early afternoon near -10 and -14 as winds shift to the north in the afternoon arctic air will begin to flood in, dropping our temperatures into the high minus teens before reaching the mid minus 20's in the overnight period. Our windchills overnight will drop into the mid minus 30's. This will be the first real shot of arctic air we will see this year. I hope you enjoy the winterlike weather this christmas.
